Lucknow is 500 km from New Delhi, capital of India. Regular flights, overnight trains and bus services are available from New Delhi to Lucknow. Temperature of Lucknow during summers shoots up to 46 degrees Celsius and light cottons are recommended during summers. During winters the temperature drops down to almost 5 degrees Celsius or even less. Heavy woolens are needed during winters.
